The Lazy Basketball Chair, designed by Emanuele Magini for Campeggi, strikes me as the kind of furniture from your bachelor pad that your girlfriend arranges to have “fall off the truck” during the process of moving in together. But for those of you who don’t mind the possibility of someone dunking in the above basket while you’re still sitting in the seat, dare to dream. Emanuele Magini was born in Arezzo in 1977. In 2003 he participated to the 11th Biennale of Mediterranean Artists, with the project “Middle ground, a forum for peace in Jerusalem”. He graduated the year after from Milan Politecnico with a final dissertation on the semiotic of holidays. After graduation he worked in several different design and architecture studios as Albera Monti & Associati, and Studio Rotella. He also worked in the field of scenography and set design for Disney Italy and for several Italian independent productions.
