In 2010 four friends – exceptional designers and bike fiends – came together in the creative London district of Clerkenwell to form design studio Quarterre. Branchline is one in a new series of unusual “bike furniture” for indoors and out. Quarterre’s distinctive approach and playful vision is led and defined by these four individual design talents; Daniele Ceccomori, Clive Hartley, Nick Mannion and Jason Povlotsky.The designer’s draw on their rich professional backgrounds and diverse personal passions to drive their work together; whether with clients in the Quarterre Design Studio, creating their Furniture For Bikes collection or developing bespoke bike storage solutions. Their Furniture For Bikes range unites interior design with the cycling world and combines stylish form with function. These sculptural bike stands support everyday life on two wheels and address the challenges of owning and living with a bike in an urban environment.
