Architect and advertising creative, Juan Sebastian Rodriguez Moranta was born in Tarragona (1972). Founder of the advertising agency Inside Consultores, with offices in Tarragona and Barcelona, he uses photography as a learning tool. Through the use of repetition and accumulation, his works seek to internalize certain phenomena. For this project, the photographer goes running every morning for two years to watch the sun rise over the Barcelona sea. Especially on overcast days. His camera is slung over his shoulder. When he reaches the shore, he stops and takes another photo, grey and minimalist, possibly with the hope of catching his own solitude.
