With over 4,000 entries from 40 countries, the annual red dot design award ranks among the largest design competitions worldwide. The competition is divided into two sections – product design and communication design – which are staged and adjudicated separately. The coveted trophy in both is the red dot, the international seal of quality for outstanding design. The award winning products are displayed online and published in a yearbook. Red Dot is once again calling designers and companies from all over the world to register their products for the “red dot award product design.”Receiving an accolade in the red dot design award makes your achievements visible, because the red dot label is a worldwide recognised quality seal for outstanding design.The red dot design award’s jury consisting of international experts guarantees an objective and fair comparison on an international scale. In by now seventeen competition categories the red dot jury assesses the products in direct comparison on site and selects the solutions with the best quality.
