ine Beez, graduate of Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, launches her “Fashion meets Technology” active wear collection last year at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London. The collection, inspired by the mountaineer George Mallory (1886 – 1924), combines natural fibre with Nano-technology and the latest fabric innovation to create a functional but visually striking range whose roots are firmly in the outdoors. In her collection, Tine uses many of the features in Mallory’s clothing to inspire her own range of natural designs that are enhanced using the latest technologies to provide the ultimate in style, comfort, performance and entertainment. Despite Mallory’s attempt to concur Everest being almost 100 years ago, and that his outfit was made using only natural materials, tests have shown that it was more advanced than many of today’s sports and mountain wear.
