Drawing inspiration from DJs Enemy, Icon, Joseph Lee, and Traser, DJ Pornstar honed his spinning skills and has developed a strong following in Bay Area and beyond. Though already established on the club circuit, He began capitalizing on his great looks and developed physique and started marketing himself as DJ Pornstar. This became his trademark and recognizable name. Demands for his DJ talents started pouring in, cementing his position as one San Francisco’s premiere DJs. With current residencies at Lookout and the Stud (Double Vision and Tattoo club parties, respectively), DJ Pornstar has a weekly presence on the San Francisco club scene. He also spins on a regular basis at Adonis and Colossus circuit parties, Club Dragon, as well as SIZE. Notable past deck performances have included FratHouse, Gloss Sundays, Activate, Flight, The Crib, and H.O.M., to name a few. DJ Pornstar was a huge hit with the party crowd of over 1500 when he played the after party to the 2009 GAYVN Awards held at one of San Francisco’s hottest clubs, Wunderland. He has also been a regular PRIDE Sound Stage DJ spinning for massive crowds 7 out of the last 11 years during the SF PRIDE Celebration. Most recently, he has secured a monthly spot for Tom Whitman Presents event called SIZE located at Here Lounge in West Hollywood. Somehow, DJ Pornstar has found the time to start a production company for original and remix recordings. Coming the summer of 2009 are his DJ Pornstar Minimal Remixes of Garbage’s Never Be Free, and Britney Spears’ Slave. Additionally, Adrian’s full production recording Save Me with vocalist BeBe Sweetbriar will be independently released accompanied by a music video. Future plans include playing club and circuit parties throughout the country, and new audio production projects.
Q: Show off a bit and tell us a bit about your career, how does popularity feel?
A: As a DJ pornstar? Well, I keep very busy producing porn, sound tracks, dance tracks, DJing, traveling, and working out at the gym. 5-6 days a week. My focus this years is to complete a soundtrack album, a DJ compilation album, and a GLAAD album. I have fans of all shapes, colors and sizes. They love my work whether it’s the videos or clubs.
Q: Tell us about porn and your passion for doing it, any high level thoughts about porn and the LGBT community?
A: Well, I’ve been a pornstar for 12 years. My passion? I like fulfilling fantasies. The things we do in films, people in the middle of America, Asia, Europe (remote places) don’t get to experience. We bring these sexy concepts to the table. Is it acting? I think it’s more role play.
The LGBT community, should still be open-minded and remember, video content and public display (of sex) is no place for children… we may respect youth, as well as the elder community. Sexy is not the only part of gay life style…!
Q: What is the longest on set shooting you ever did? How many times did you have to “shoot” during that shoot?
A: 13 hours was the longest shoot. I came twice on set, then twice when I got home… I was rock hard all day long…lol.
Q: How does porn affect dating/romance? What kind of guys are you attracted to?
A: Wow, you know, that is a good question. Dating a pornstar is not easy. You have to be very open minded and secure. Jealousy has no role in it, or it will not work! I think in most cases, I have kept an open relationship just to be fair. Otherwise, if I’m dating I don’t sleep around, outside of my work, Making adult films is just work for me. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy my work or I wouldn’t do it, but I always come home to the one I’m with and don’t fool around outside of that commitment. I like guys with a sense of humor — a funny joke and a smile goes a long way. I like sweet guys.
Q: Do you have a good embarrassing story about what happened during a film shoot?
A: HAHAHA, nothing embarrassing has ever happened to me, but I think it’s funny when a model is licking ass and get a fart in the face… lol. It happens a lot. Now that you don’t see in the adult films….. hmmmm maybe!
