“Window Watching“ is a project by prolific and provocative photographer Michael Wolf, who we had already spoken several times with “Real Toy Story, daily life in Chinese toy factories“, with “The facades of Hong Kong” or with”Michael Wolf, Google StreetView as a camera” (the latter project had been controversial because it had allowed Michael Wolf to won an press photography award without leaving his chair, brilliant!). With “Window Watching“, photographer Michael Wolf works this time around the boundaries between art and voyeurism, at the limit of legality, by photographing people in their apartments in Hong Kong. A look at stolen life scenes as trapped in a jar, that reminds the “Rear Window” movie.
