Andreas Murkudis opened his new store in Potsdamer Strasse 81 E in Berlin Tiergarten, located in the former premises of the Tagesspiegel newspaper. After 8 years hidden in the historic courtyard in Münzstr. 21 in Berlin Mitte, moving west was a further development of the concept. Also the new store was developed again in collaboration with the architects AAS Gonzalez/Haase. In a space with 1000sqm, selected products and collections are presented in a neat and lucid atmosphere. The reduced architecture and the unique square shaped room with a ceiling height of almost 7m and the Hagensieker floor boards, creates an impressing air. The range of the offered products in more than 1000sqm area reaches from fashion and accessories, perfumes, cosmetics, design objects, furniture, luggage, art, fine glassware and selected porcelain manufacturers, liquors, jewelry and sunglasses, books and art editions, carpets and interior objects. Still the choice of the offered products and collections is based on a high aspiration of quality, condition of production and tradition. In occasion of the opening special editions from Christian Haas, Dries van Noten, E15, Etablissement, Hohgant, Isaac Reina, Kostas Murkudis, Lutz, Maison Martin Margiela, Monkey 47, Mykita, Neri, Porcelain Manufacturer Nymphenburg, Saskia Diez, Stählemühle Destillerie, Stephanie Schneider and Werkstatt:München were presented. Next to internationally renowned brands as Céline, Balenciaga, Maison Martin Margiela and others, can be found names and products which have been not known to a wide public yet. Through this develops a very own and unique suspense in the portfolio of Andreas Murkudis. One can be surprised by the unforeseen blend and presentation.
