No longer will the Greek city of Athens be known just for it’s famous Acropolis. The restaurant offers a wide range of cuisine, boasting a team of five resident DJs and Radio Producers with occasional appearances by Guest DJs from around the world. The Frame is open daily for lunch and dinner and also offers many varieties of coffees and fresh fruit juices. So the next time you happen to be in Athens, be sure to check out the beautiful restaurant. A must visit for the super glamorous readers of TBF.
Framebar is the main bar of the st George Lycabettus HOTEL, located in kolonaki, Athens. The main aim of the design was to recreate the usual typologies of chairs, benches, bars stands, tables and coffee tables using forms that morph from one geometry to the other, thus denying predetermined typology activity associations.
This was achieved by using advanced parametric design techniques which led to the specification of a series of poly surfaces, ultimately constructed out of heat formed staron.
The geometrical continuity is retained throughout the design, ultimately offering a continuous interior topography that assumes different geometrical specifications in relation to specific programmatic intentions.
