Michael Stolworthy is a native designer to Las Vegas where he is inspired by the night life and lounge environments throughout the amazing hotels and casinos. The unique style of Michael’s furniture and object designs is a culmination of his experiences fueled by his dedication to daily practice. His personal and academic studies encompass 3-d animation, advanced organic modeling, dynamically driven surfaces, media arts, and horticultural science. He studied at the Art Institute of Las Vegas earning a Bachelor of Science Degree and also the College of Southern Nevada where he focused on Ornamental Horticulture studies. Stolworthy has forged his creative skills over several years in different roles. He’s served time as an Art Director in broadcast commercial production, a Creative Director in stage & event design, a Multimedia Artist, and an Exhibit Designer. He also worked with a stereo-lithography lab that specializes in growing 3-d models of human skeletal structures for pre-surgical research. With this diverse background, he’s been fortunate enough to have created events and exhibits for clients such as Oprah, Target, Verizon, Paramount Pictures, and E*Trade.
