THEUREL & TOMAS pâtisserie in Mexico promises to feed both your design appetite and your stomach! They are the first maison in Mexico specialized in macarons, the most popular dessert of the French pastries (made of meringue, almond power and sugar, macarons are world famous for their addictive taste and their delicate softness), and this has already earned them a lot of devotees. But apart from the excellent quality and the various tastes and colors of the delights that star Chef Irving Quiroz Quintana prepares following the French tradition, they are famed for the design and ambiance of their store. The studio Anagrama, pioneers in brand development, is to be blamed for the unique take on French elegance of the pâtisserie in San Pedro, Mexico. Situated in one of the most exclusive suburbs, it has captured the attention of design enthusiasts that are crazy for the perfect white scenery where macarons are the only touch of color. “White was our primary tool for design. As a result of this the attention was fully oriented to the colorful macarons. We also placed two lines in our design in cyan and magenta, like if it was a modern French flag, in order to inject a vanguard vision to the identity. Finally, we selected Didot (created by Firmin and Pierre Didot), a French typography that is ideal to represent the brand’s sophistication”. A space where every detail is taken care of, from the furniture to the packaging. As they say, they meticulously selected each porcelain piece creating a balance with sophisticated specks that made the value of the brand and the exclusivity of the product outshine. The final result is more than rewarding, perfectly representing the elegance of these delicate desserts. THEUREL & TOMAS pâtisserie is an excellent example that good design and good food can do miracles together! Our compliments to both Anagrama and Irving Quiroz Quintana.
