ere’s a clever infographic from Tech King, on the evolution of Photoshop. Maybe many of you remember using the program for the first time, shortly after it came out. I needed to make a drawing look pixilated, like a video game for a book cover concept. Although Photoshop is amazing because of all its “cool” features, one unfortunate side effect is that these are often used as substitutes for design. Of course, all good designers know that there needs to be a reason to use all those fun bells and whistles; otherwise, you’re decorating, and not designing. In any case, Photoshop is an amazing tool, and it’s been a fun 20 years!
