s in many countries of the world, Hungarian televison also started a”reality show”about who is the most talented person in the country (Hungary’s Got Talent). István Tabáni, the winner of the show in 2009, was a watchman in a museum of Budapest before taking part in the competition. Singing one of most faimous Hungarian musical song called”The Distance of a Light Year” from the musical “Loft” of Gábor Presser, Tabáni’s voice breaks in between the show and at the end of his performance he bursts into tears.( see this video) “The Distance of a Light Year” is a song about leaving fatherland for a better future, a very common act among the people of small/poor nations. The song tells the story of a sceptical, who is not sure, if the best thing would be leaving.
