Let’s Cafe, a coffee shop chain in Taiwan, is offering customers the option to have their own personal photo printed onto their latte. When a customer purchases a medium-sized latte, their photo is captured by a camera. The picture is edited into the right position and size, then printed on a cup of latte through a specialized latte printer. The process takes approximately five minutes. Each of the special latte is going for $45 New Taiwan Dollar ($1.50 USD), which is no different to how much a normal latte would cost in the shop. This is made possible by a special type of coffee machine that uses cocoa powder and latte cream to create the image. That’s a great idea!
