The decorative Erotica font family was born out of the passion for calligraphy and its interpretation in a new typographic way. Type designer Maximiliano Sproviero (Founder of Lián Types) wanted to create a really sexy font family. Some of Erotica’s characters were drawn with a pencil first before using the pen. Maximiliano Sproviero combined really thick and very thin hairlines with sweeping curves. The complete font family includes lots of alternates and features, which give you amount of possibilities when choosing the right style for your sexy letterings.
To make Erotica suitable for small sizes too, Maximiliano Sproviero has created Erotica Small. This font can be printed in small sizes without any problems. The Erotica Inline was designed for a more elegant purpose. As a perfect companion to this calligraphic style, Maximiliano Sproviero created Erotica Capitals, which can be used with or without its alternates to accompany Erotica. The Erotica font family was awarded in 2013 with the Certificate of Excellence in Type Design of the 59th TDC (Type Directors Club) Typeface Design Competition.
