Damiano Belotti is a son of the art of iron. In 1964 his father Angelo opened an holding of metal, FDB, that allowed him to develop work at both the building, and at the level of craftsmanship. Damiano and his brother Francesco took over the company in 1998, when Angelo retired by seniority, but always remains in contact with his children and constantly offering his vast experience. The FDB, thanks to the dynamic spirit of two young brothers, has established itself in North Italy for the great technical quality of the work, becoming for many architec- tural and engineering a reliable and innovative partner.
”When we were kids, our first bicycle was the first own vehicle with two wheels that helped us to get wherever we liked to go and was the first precious partner of our life. On that saddle we dreamt, we felt the wind on our faces, we enjoyed feeling the first freedom, a freedom that depends only on us, on our legs. A freedom that doesn’t need any gasoline. A freedom that lets us reach wherever we feel to get.”
Damiano Belotti, an Italian craftsman, lives and works in a small town in the province of Bergamo in the North of Italy. He has let his passion to be grown, keeping always in his mind the aesthetic of the “quanto basta, nulla più” (just enough, nothing more) said by Giorgio Armani, whom words made a history in the world of fashion. Damiano dreams and works on two fronts: Production of his own models come from his ideas & Creative restoration of old Italian bikes from ‘70s / ‘80s, converting into UNIQUE and inimitable arts.
