Experts say that locations in the US are top destinations for human traffickers who bring thousands and thousands of captives to the country. As for slavery, all you have to do is take a look at cheap labour industries and you’ll find labor exploitation. And the victims are not only immigrants. Millions of people around the world still suffer in silence in slave-like situations of forced labor and commercial sexual exploitation from which they cannot free themselves. Trafficking in persons is one of the greatest human rights challenges of our time. People are willing to resort to almost anything in order to escape to another country. And sometimes their ingenious ways of smuggling are not so genius. These examples of human trafficking fails include the amazing ‘Man disguised as seat,’ or the not so smart ‘Using the car floor as a hidden compartment.’ Whatever the reasons, there is no excuse for something as stupid as this.
