We’ve waited a long time for a successor to Charles and Ray Eames’ Nordic-inspired but ultimately all-American lounger. Now, just shy of 60 years since the Eames, comes design duo Doshi Levien’s Almora. There’s no bad angle from which to view the chair’s inverted peak of soft leather and sheepskin, and it’s supremely comfortable, to boot. Italian-made, British-designed, Indian-inspired: and there you were, thinking it was yet another Danish display-piece. The chair is available from B&B Italia.
