KENNY RANDOM: The Made In Italy Street Art

Kenny Random alias Andrea Coppo is an Italian street artist with a penchant for street art that falls well outside the realm of the normal or the expected. This particular assortment of images explores Kenny Random’s abstract graffiti, and it isn’t hard to see the prominent influence that Picasso has had on his artistic vision. You see a little Banksy in his work, but I don’t think he’s trying to make any kind of statement, and you even see a little of Banksy’s creation Mr. Brainwash in his work as well. Random says: “My characters communicate in silence, and I prefer not to add words.” His canvas work is pop, colorful, and real nice. What is most interesting about Kenny’s art, however, is how his fusion of classical and pop culture influences plays out in the relatively accessible medium of street art. By bringing his creative stylings to urban settings, Kenny Random is able to open up artistic history to an entirely different generation of viewers. The result is that his work remains both creatively and historically relevant, and is sure to delight art connoisseurs and amateurs alike. We don’t know how to get in touch with him, but you can buy his art work at his website at the link below.
