aniel grew up on Long Island in Bellmore, NY and later went to school at the Rhode Island School of Design. After graduating in 2003 in illustration, he became a graphic designer and didn’t start illustrating again until 2008. He is heavily influenced by printmaking and Swiss graphic design. He resides in Montclair, New Jersey and plays hockey almost every week at Chelsea Piers, in New York. He was even co-captain of RISD’s hockey team, the Nads.
