THREE NIKED BIKES by Paolo De Giusti

his is a shiny, sharp looking triad of motorcycle vehicles. Before you get down too far in the description, take note that the red and the black are diesel/electric engines while the gray is an electric only, working with the battery. Then below that in this project post’s gallery you’ll see the “shared” battery station, which is quite the looker and something sure like to see in the real world for real. Designer Paolo De Giusti presents three Naked bikes. First are the red and the black models, the “900 SD.” Style inspired by the old Moto Guzzi single cylinder bikes. Designed to be “romantic.” Deliberately limited in aerodynamic protection, forcing the rider to lie down on the tank whilst driving. Engine is a single cylinder 903 cc with direct injection and turbo diesel – for RACING FAST. Form IS function in this project, each element in place for a specified purpose. Then the “SE” Big Battery Naked. This is based on the frame of the “900 SD” models, but instead with an eye pointed at the future. Two electric motors in each wheel for traction and braking energy recovery. The bike contains a large removable battery pack and 2 fixed backup batteries. This bike uses the “shared system battery.” With this system, the designer takes into account the idea that everything about electric batteries is better than conventional engine systems except the fact that they’ve got that long time for charging up. This system does away with that with a shared battery system. In this system there will be stations positioned throughout the environment of the biker that use robots to take out and replace batteries whenever the motorcycle runs low on battery life. Not only would this system make the process of getting fuel as good as it is already, the battery switching time is projected to be much LESS than that of filling up your tank with gasoline. Great work Paolo! Our compliments.
