Artist Jonty Hurwitz has a background in science and creates art inspired by Einstein’s theory of relativity and how the human brain perceives space. His most recent copper and chrome sculpture entitled Yogi Banker, 2010, was inspired by the global financial crisis of 2007-2008. Yogi Banker is seemingly abstract, however when it is viewed in a convex mirrored surface the reflection reveals a representational hand.
