Originally used on hand-cranking printing presses, each piece used on the necklaces are ever so slightly worn by normal printing use. Each letterpress piece is gently cleaned and polished and have age appropriate imperfections which add to the nostalgic value of each letter. These letterpress letters are made from solid brass so there is no lead in them and are perfectly safe for everyday wear. Each letter measures 7/8″ length, 5/16″ wide by 1/4″ deep and is suspended from a 24″ gunmetal chain which contrasts the piece nicely and is secured with a clasp.
